Selling-Ware Introduces Advanced Semiconductor Technology, from Wafer Processing to Packaging and Testing

Chairman Fan Wen-ying leads Selling-Ware’s team of 100 to provide resilient and timely localized services. At this year's semiconductor exhibition, the company is showcasing heating equipment from South Korea's Laserssel, which can replace reflow ovens. Featuring a maximum laser area of 300x300mm for bonding and packaging, the equipment offers significant advantages for various sizes in advanced packaging and has already secured continuous orders from domestic customers.
Selling-Ware represents several international equipment brands. Among them, Kostek has developed temporary bonding and debonding solutions for advanced packaging, applicable to both wafers and glass. The Canadian company Femtum provides cleaning and surface modification solutions for the trending field of silicon photonics. Nexensor's white light interferometry technology utilizes patented algorithms to measure wafer surface film morphology and Edge Roll-off. Offering faster performance than conventional methods, it has been favored and verified by major technology manufacturers.
NEXTIN's dark-field image defect inspection machines are used for advanced packaging, and SK Hynix also utilizes them in the HBM process to identify micro-crack and particle defects. MIT ultrasonic inspection machines are used to inspect bubbles and delamination defects in the wafer bonding process and void defects in the bumping process; they overcome fast-moving bubble interference and offer superior WPH over competitors. Additionally, South Korea's Cubixel holographic 3D inspection equipment is suitable for the TGV process on transparent glass as well as AOI planar inspection of substrates and photomasks, gaining favor from Samsung and having no rivals in the market.
Fan Wenying stated that SK Materials Performance, a subsidiary of South Korea's SK Group, has received certification from major IDMs and OSATs for its Flux, LMC, and MUF materials used in advanced packaging processes. SKMP offers customized material services to meet the diverse requirements of advanced packaging.
Selling-Ware has also introduced non-contact photoluminescence (PL) inspection equipment from Hungary-based PHYS for upstream wafer manufacturing. This equipment detects internal material contamination and defects without the need for etching, features lower costs than standard AOI, and is applicable to Si, GaAs, and GaN substrates as well as epitaxial inspection. Furthermore, non-contact resistance measurement from Germany's Suragus allows for real-time monitoring of electroplating film thickness to enhance yield.
Safety locking devices are a high-impact investment in semiconductor manufacturing, providing effective safety upgrades to prevent tragic accidents. Silicon-Link has introduced Jiwoo safety locking devices, which are already widely used by panel manufacturers in specialty gas cabinets for SiH4, PH3, NH3, Cl2, and NF3, and are now being fully promoted to the semiconductor industry. Industrial safety incidents in South Korean semiconductor and panel plants cause equipment damage and casualties every year. Safety locking devices protect equipment and personnel to prevent industrial accidents, and are fully utilized by major manufacturers such as Samsung, Hynix, and LG.
Selling-Ware introduced AMT automated gas cylinder handling and replacement technology this year. Designed for facility gas cabinets, it facilitates the implementation of smart factory and ESH strategies, optimizing manpower and enhancing factory safety, and has been fully deployed in South Korea. Selling-Ware provides BI test boards, pogo pins, rubber pads, Neosem memory testers, BI ovens, and polyimide sleeves for probe cards, which improve test performance quality, reduce failure rates, and optimize yield.
